Lupanara Wine Bistro
Lupanara is a Glenn Bedingfield and Ivan Deidun signature wine bistro. Set in the historic Fort St.Angelo, Birgu, it has been carefully designed with the adjacent sea inlet to act as single welcoming and entertaining spot. The inspiration for the name comes from the wine themed taverna’s in and around Pompeii during classical times in which people would spend time eating and drinking in good company. Birgu’s very own Lupanara aspires to live up to it’s name and cater to all those who live a rich, full life and seek joy in every moment. With its friendly atmosphere and relaxed bistro setting, Lupanara is the perfect meeting place where good food is accompanied by fine wine. Doubling up as a unique wine bar, with its extensive list of wines and great music, it serves as a community focal point for after work rendezvous and late evening, relaxation. Reservations for dinner or the VIP room are recommended.
Pop a bottle of bubbly.
It’s a magical start to a memorable evening or try our Lupanara Half & Half: a full champagne saucer brimming over with equal quantities of sparkling brut and off-dry still white wine.
